2023 Hyundai Tucson Release Date, Colors, Limited, N Line

The recent redesign of Hyundai’s compact crossover shocked the world. The new generation came with so many improvements that we are now talking about one of the class leaders. Therefore, it’s quite obvious that the 2023 Hyundai Tucson, which will represent the second production year, will come without more important changes. Of course, minor updates are always possible, in terms of new standard equipment, new color options and similar things.

You may count on a familiar design, which has so many things to offer. Tucson is mostly praised for its impressive interior quality and premium overall look. The list of standard and available equipment is also pretty long, while we also like the sound insulation. This SUV also offers pretty composed handling and a smooth ride. The cabin is very generous with space, while hybrid powertrains are quite peppy and quite efficient.

Since there are no significant changes to come, we expect that the 2023 Hyundai Tucson will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Design

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson will represent the second production year of the generation and therefore, it’s hard to expect any bigger changes. We are about to see the same design, characterized by pretty futuristic but also polarizing front-end design. The rest of the vehicle looks quite muscular and there is a chance to see minor updates in the next year, in terms of new color options on the offer.

Still, we find the mechanical aspect of this SUV much more important. We like the new suspension setup, which ensures quite composed handling. The Tucson offers a great balance between athleticism and comfort, though it’s a little bit on the soft side. The ride is smooth and ensures plenty of comfort on longer journeys.

Interior

This is arguably the strongest point of this Tuscon generation. First of all, the cabin looks very elegant and pretty luxurious, thanks to the excellent materials choice and a lot of attention to detail. The overall build quality is pretty impressive, while there is also a very long list of standard and available tech features, which make the cabin look even more premium.

Furthermore, the seats are pretty massive and comfortable, with good side support. The driving position is good, while there is plenty of room. The second row is also very generous with passenger room and accommodates taller adults with ease.

Finally, there is the generous cargo area. You may count on about 38.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and a vast 74.8 cubic feet with these seats folded, which is pretty impressive for the segment, pretty much on par with class-leaders like Nissan Rogue, Subaru Forester etc.

Features

Novelties in this aspect are always possible, though we are pretty sure that most of the things are about to remain the same. Therefore, all models should come standard with goodies like an 8-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, two USB ports, HD Radio, and a six-speaker stereo. The list of optional features should include things like a 10.25-inch touch screen, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, navigation, wireless device charging, satellite radio, an eight-speaker Bose stereo, two rear-seat USB ports, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a digital key, and a panoramic sunroof.

The same thing is expected with safety features. So, all models should come standard with a rearview camera, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic high beams etc. The list of available safety features should include parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptrive cruise control, rear collision warning, surround-view camera etc.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Engines

We expect that the 2023 Hyundai Tucson will continue with three familiar powertrain options. Base models will continue with a 2.5-liter inline-four, which puts out around 187 horsepower, which seems OK for daily commuting. We also like pretty good fuel economy, which goes around 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.

Also, there are two hybrid versions on the offer. The first one is a classic hybrid, which is based on a 1.6-liter turbo-four engine and puts out around 226 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid comes with the same engine but with a more powerful electric motor and a bigger battery. As a result, you get a max output of 261 horsepower, while you may count on 33 miles of the all-electric range.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Release Date and Price

We expect that, since there are no changes to come, the 2023 Hyundai Tucson will arrive sometime in the last quarter of the year. The price should also remain pretty much unchanged. The current model starts at around 27.000 dollars, while the range-topping versions go pretty close to 40.000 dollars.
