2023 Infiniti QX80 Monograph, Redesign, Interior, Price, Release Date

2023 Infiniti QX80

The current generation of Infiniti’s full-size SUV is by far the oldest model in the class but it looks like the Japanese manufacturer doesn’t have a redesign in plans for the near future. This especially refers to the recent interior update, which has brought a new infotainment system and a new dashboard design for the 2022 model. Therefore, we are pretty sure that the 2023 Infiniti QX80 will come without more important updates. It will continue with the same design, though there’s always a chance to see minor updates, such as new color options, new standard features and similar things.

On the other hand, the overall layout will certainly remain the same. We are about to see a familiar SUV, which has a lot of good things to offer. We really like its muscular V8 engine, as well as the overall performance. Also, the new infotainment system works great, while the interior features good build quality, even though some styling elements look outdated.

Considering that no bigger changes are about to come, we are pretty sure that the 2023 Infiniti QX80 will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Infiniti QX80 Design

Design-wise, the 2023 Infiniti QX80 definitely won’t change. It will continue with the same overall design, which has been around since 2010. Of course, it’s based on the good-old F-Alpha platform, which still keeps this SUV pretty competent. We like how it handles and offers a surprisingly high level of athleticism for this segment.

Of course, the current generation has been updated a few times during this long production cycle. The most recent was three years ago when we saw a completely new styling. The new design came based on the Monograph concept and even today, this is one of the better-looking models in the segment where most of the competition is way younger.

Interior

As we already mentioned, the last year’s update has brought a lot of novelties on the inside. The most important update was the new 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Furthermore, we saw some additional modifications on the center console and the new layout looks much fresher. The 2023 Infiniti QX80 will continue in the same way, which means a little bit outdated dashboard design, but also a nice mix of good materials and even better build quality.

Also, this SUV offers a pretty generous amount of passenger space. The front seats and very spacious and with excellent comfort, some of the best in the class. The second row is as comfortable, while even the third row accommodates adults pretty comfortably.

When it comes to cargo capacity, you may count on about 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind its third-row seats, 49.6 cubic feet with these seats folded, and 95.1 cubic feet of the total cargo volume, which is pretty good for the class.

Features

When it comes to standard equipment, we might see a couple of novelties but most of the things are about to remain the same. Therefore, all models should come standard with goodies like a 12.3-inch infotainment system, navigation system, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, four USB ports, HD Radio, satellite radio, and a 13-speaker stereo. Besides these tech goodies, you may also count on things like keyless entry, push-button start, remote start, tri-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, and a power liftgate.

The list of optional tech features should include just a couple of things, such as a 17-speaker sound system and a rear-seat entertainment system with two 8-inch displays.

When it comes to safety, all models should come standard with goodies like a rearview camera, surround-view parking camera, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams etc.

2023 Infiniti QX80 Engines

Things under the hood definitely won’t change. The 2023 Infiniti QX80 will continue with a good-old 5.6-liter V8, which sounds great and moves this SUV with ease. The max output is rated at 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, and all that power is sent to either rear or all wheels through the smooth 7-speed automatic transmission.

Besides strong acceleration and overall performance, this SUV also offers a high level of athleticism. On the other hand, what’s not so great is fuel economy, which goes around 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. When properly equipped, this SUV can tow up to 8.500 pounds.

2023 Infiniti QX80 Release Date and Price

We expect that the 2023 Infiniti QX80 will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year. The starting price should go around 72.000 dollars, while the key competitors are models like Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator etc.
