2023 Lexus LX 570 Review, Price, Interior, Redesign

2023 Lexus LX 570

The super-capable LX has just been redesigned after so many years and the new model has brought so many novelties and improvements. The new generation rides on a completely new platform and features a completely new design. Of course, we saw completely new aesthetics, while there is also the new powertrain. Considering the V6 engine, we won’t be seeing the 2023 Lexus LX 570, but rather the LX 600.

The next year will be the second of the current generation but that doesn’t mean that we won’t be seeing novelties. The next year is about to bring an off-road version, while there is also a big chance to see a hybrid powertrain, for the first time in an LX. The rest of the design and features should remain pretty much the same.

Despite the updates, we don’t expect that the 2023 Lexus LX 570 will come much earlier than usual, but rather in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Lexus LX 570 Design

As we’ve just mentioned, this will be the second production year of the new generation and although we won’t be seeing the 2023 Lexus LX 570, we will see a lot of amazing things. Of course, this refers to all the benefits that were recently introduced with the overhaul. First of all, there is a new platform, the TNGA-F architecture, that has significantly improved ride quality, efficiency and overall performance. Of course, there is also the new styling, more attractive than before.

For the second production year, it is expected that the Japanese manufacturer will introduce an off-road version of the SUV. This version would come with all kinds of upgrades, such as further suspension upgrades, additional traction modes, three locking differentials (front, center and rear) and many more. We presume that there will be a fair amount of exclusive styling details as well.

Interior

This aspect shouldn’t bring any bigger changes. We count on the same layout, which brings a lot of benefits. We like the dashboard design, which combines conventional design solutions with fine materials and excellent build quality. Furthermore, there is a pretty generous amount of tech features that make everything even more upscale.

When it comes to passenger space, base models come with two rows of seats. The front row features spacious and well-designed seats, with excellent comfort and support. The second row is also spacious and comfortable, while you can also opt for captain’s chairs and enjoy it even more. The third row of seats is optional but it isn’t particularly generous with space and works mostly for kids.

In terms of passenger space, the two-row model offers around 46 cubic feet behind the second row and 71 cubic feet of the total cargo volume. On the other hand, the three-row model offers around 11 cubic feet of space behind the third-row 44 cubic feet and 64 cubic feet of the total cargo volume.

Features

As we are talking about the second production year, it’s pretty much for sure that there won’t be bigger changes in terms of standard and available equipment. Therefore, base models should come with goodies like 2.3-inch and 7-inch touch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 10-speaker premium stereo, Bluetooth, four USB ports, satellite radio, wireless device charging, navigation, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a universal garage door opener, and a moonroof.

Among upgrades, you can find two additional USB ports, a 25-speaker Mark Levinson surround-sound stereo, rear wireless device charging, a rear-seat entertainment system with two 11.4-inch displays, ambient interior lighting and a center console cooler.

2023 Lexus LX 570 Engines

We may not see the 2023 Lexus LX 570, but we may see some big novelties under the hood. Currently, the new generation is offered a new 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6, which puts out around 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The engine comes coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the average fuel economy goes around 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.

For the next year, we can hear rumors that suggest a hybrid version. That would be the same system that powers the new Sequoia and Tundra models, based on a turbo V6 engine. The whole system features a combined output of 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque and also comes in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
